It is often desirable to interact not just with a client directly, but with others the are associated with. For example: our client might be Sarah, but we might talk with Linda, her daughter-in-law about Sarah's status. Curanotis allows you to track these relationships via Associated Contacts.

To add an associated contact, find the client and select their record. Their Client Overview page appears.

Click on the ADD link in the Associated Contacts section. The Associated Contacts page appears:

Use the Select Contact To Associate section to find the contact you wish to associate them with. If the contact doesn't exist, click on the Add button to add them to Curanotis.

Once the desired contact is found or added, click on the Associate button. The Add Associated Contact form appears:

Select the Relationship Type from the list. Enter any notes about the relationship in the Additional Information field. When you are finished, click on Save to create the association. The contact will now appear in the Current Associated Contacts list. If the relationship type is reciprocal, a corresponding relationship going the other direction is also created. For example: If Irene Adler is identified as the Child of Sarah Westguard, an additional association is created making Sarah the Parent of Irene.
