Interactive Query allows you to resize the columns in your queries for better formatting, or to hide the columns from view entirely.
To Resize a Column
Resizing a column in Interactive Query is similar to resizing columns in spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel. Move your cursor to the vertical line on the right edge of the column you wish to resize.
You will see the horizontal arrows showing that the column is resizable. Hold down your mouse and move the cursor to your new desired right edge of the column. While you are resizing the column, a longer bar reflecting the new column edge will display.
Release the mouse once you have reached the desired width, and the column will be resized.
Tip: Column widths are part of the query definition when you save a query.
To Hide a Column
Some columns that appear in Interactive Query may not be important for this situation. You can hide columns that you do not wish to see in your query. Hidden columns will not appear in your exported query either.
Click on the header context menu for any column.
The context menu displays several options, including the Columns item.
Hover your cursor over the Columns menu item, and a list of the available columns for the query appears.
Uncheck any column you wish to hide, and move you cursor off of the list when complete. As you uncheck columns, they are removed from the query results.
