Interactive Query in Curanotis provides a powerful way of filtering your data. After you have accessed the Interactive Query page and selected a QUERY TYPE, you can now access the filtering options.

First, click on the context menu for the column you would like to filter:

A popup of the available filtering, sorting, and grouping options appears, similar to this:

To add a filter to a column, change the drop down list under SHOW ROWS WITH VALUE THAT to a filter that makes sense for your desired query. Then enter a corresponding filter value in the following textbox. After your filter is entered, click on the Filter button to update the rows displayed in the grid.

Here are some examples to demonstrate various filtering options:

Example 1: First Name is "Cindy"

To show only records with a first name of 'Cindy', the filter would look like this:

Example 2: The public notes field contains the phrase "E3 Training"

To show only records with a public notes field containing the words "E3 Training", the filter would look like this:

Example 3: Interaction Date during the year 2018

To show only records with an interaction date that occurred in 2018, the filter would look like this:

Example 4: Columns with Checkbox Choices

Some columns have a limited number of options. The popup that appears for these columns will also show a checkbox list of options, like this:

You can use either the checkbox list to filter your choices, or the other filter fields as shown above.
